Who We Are

DIDO UMC was founded in 1959 - a tiny church which today is a small church with an older congregation that understands the importance of reaching out to the community to spread THE WORD.

Our mission is to Love, Praise, and Serve.  Community outreach is important to us, and we believe that a small church can make a big difference in today's world.  We do our best to exemplify and represent Our Lord and Savior.

What We Do To Spread THE WORD

We call the DIDO United Methodist Church "The Little Church On The Hill" with a focus on providing focus on "the community" through projects that support youth,  community outreach, school children, city and county program, and special individuals that promote the principles of our church through community and national work.

For example, we provide snack pack lunches for a local elementary school, tutor students in math and reading at the same school, provide meals and fellowship for The Samaritan House in Fort Worth, Christmas and Easter activities for younger children, and recognition of special people, such as Dorothy Schafernocker - a GOLD Star Mom who for many years worked tirelessly to our fallen service men and women.
